His approach blends immersive audio storytelling with structured reflection, transforming passive learning into active, repeatable action. Drawing from education, entrepreneurship, and lived experience, Terrence helps organizations move beyond one-time inspiration toward lasting implementation.
His work sits at the intersection of story, psychology, and performance—bridging the gap between what people hear and what they actually do.

Testimonials
Terrence guided ten professionals struggling with grant writing through his storytelling for report writing process. I was able to see how storytelling for impact would better highlight the projects I am working on and will be using his methods moving forward! Terrence is engaging and a skilled facilitator who helped all of us feel reflected in the process.
It was an interactive session and I was able to put myself into the stories. It was MUCH better than a presentation with slides. I enjoyed the aspect of almost meditation while listening to the stories with the lights off and eyes closed. Terrence is super funny and relatable and I would recommend anyone go to his sessions. The session makes you feel like it is okay to say what you feel.
10/10, experiential, different, relational, no freaking slides, real reflection and committed action!
10/10, I have never experienced this type of learning before and it will stick with me longer then a slide deck. The narratives, the processing time, the combination of self reflection and group work. I plan to use the framework around turning negative into positive. For example, the skill shifting. I tend to try and take on too much, but shifting my thinking and examining my skills, I have realized that I am self aware and know my capacity. I can stick to my boundaries and still help others without burning out. Quote to live by when it comes to clients, “what can wait without being ignored?” focusing on one thing at a time and slowing things down.
I’ve had the chance to take part in four of the NeuroNarrative experiences and I’ve had the honour of witnessing this system grow and evolve over time. Experiencing the most recent demonstration brought everything together in a meaningful and exciting way that resonates in the work people do across many sectors and industries.
Because I have Aphantasia, a condition that makes me unable to create mental images, I generally can’t visualize images or ideas in my imagination, but the overall sensory experience of the audio clips allowed me to actually imagine being in the scenes and generated a familiar picture. The audio experiences and storytelling were able to bring out real emotions and an interesting sense of nostalgia. Everything feels relatable, familiar and easy to connect with. And after each session, I just feel more connected to what I was supposed to be learning, which was because of the built in reflection and the unique focus on adult learning retention. Love it and would come back again and again!
Terrence, the speaker/organizer/creator of NeuroNarrative was vibrant, full of energy and very personable. His introduction and instructions for the session were clear and concise with a hint of mystery. His creativity in the delivery was nothing short of brilliant. It made every other education/engagement session, pale horribly in comparison. By the time the session ended, I was excited to know that someone actually got it and perfected what was lacking in just about every session that I had ever attended for work in the past. Also, the props that were used were imaginative as I waited, my curiosity peaked for instruction for their use.
If I were that person wondering who to get to deliver a service that would improve job performance, cohesion and retention, Terrence is that person! The audio recordings made sense and made the solution to a variety of problems seems so obvious and clear. I particularly enjoyed the fact that there would be follow up to the session, with “ homework” that helps to bring everything together, now and in the future. Terrence’s session was undoubtedly the best that I have had the privilege to attend. I look forward to what he will produce next. Kudos Terrence to a job well done!
Terrence creates a space that is unlike any workshop or training session I’ve attended.
What stood out most to me was the intentionality behind the experience. In a world where we’re constantly moving, multitasking, and carrying the weight of work, family, and life’s responsibilities, Terrence creates an environment where people can simply be still. It felt less like a traditional workshop and more like an opportunity to step outside the noise, reflect, and reconnect with yourself.
He has a unique ability to make everyone in the room feel safe, welcomed, and valued, while never forcing participation or a particular outcome. The experience brought people together in a meaningful way, creating a sense of connection and shared humanity, while still allowing each person to take away what they needed most from the experience.
For me personally, the reflection and conversations sparked by the workshop extended far beyond the session itself. I left feeling grounded, energized, and with a deeper appreciation for the importance of slowing down and being intentional.
I’ve known Terrence for many years and have always respected him as a leader, mentor, and person. Experiencing his work in this setting only deepened that respect. His ability to connect with people, create meaningful dialogue, and guide reflection is a gift, and one that I believe leaves a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to experience it.
