Sarah Ellen Morrison

Sarah Ellen Morrison is a talented artist based out of Halifax, Nova Scotia. Born and raised on Cape Breton Island, Sarah has a diverse creative background including dance, piano, clarinet, musical theatre, spoken word and songwriting. With influences such as Norah Jones and Amy Winehouse, Sarah’s voice has its own unique jazzy timbre, with a smooth and sultry flair. Her love of music led her to a year of study at The School of Performing Arts in Charlottetown, PE., a partnership program of Berklee College of Music. There she began vocal training with Joey Kitson of Rawlins Cross. She fell more and more in love with jazz, soul and blues vocals, and her unique sound was cultivated.
