Speaker Bio
Ian Khan, AI Readiness Futurist was shortlisted for the Thinkers50 Future Readiness Award for UNDISRUPTED (Wiley), one of eight thinkers recognised worldwide alongside Erik Brynjolfsson of MIT, Rita McGrath of Columbia Business School, Amy Webb of NYU Stern and Howard Yu of IMD.
He is the creator of the Future Readiness Score, an organisational readiness diagnostic built over five years and now used with hundreds of organisations across more than a dozen industries. It is why his sessions work differently. Before he takes the stage, the leadership team completes an assessment built for their industry. During the session he reveals the collective results live, benchmarked against every organisation measured. The room leaves with ranked priorities it produced itself, and every attendee receives a personalised ninety-day action plan.
The research behind it is primary. Every year Ian interviews more than five hundred senior leaders on camera: scientists, operators, founders, regulators and investors. Those interviews are produced as The Futurist, an independent documentary series distributed on Prime Video, Apple TV, Roku, Tubi and Fire TV, and become the annual State of Industry benchmarks.
He is a USA Today and Publishers Weekly bestselling author, a Top 25 Futurist worldwide, a three-time TEDx speaker.
He does not deliver forecasts. He delivers evidence.

WHAT MAKES THE FORMAT DIFFERENT
──────────────────────────────
Every Ian Khan engagement runs in three parts, at no additional cost.
BEFORE
The audience completes a readiness assessment built for their industry. Each person receives their own score before the event.
LIVE
On stage the whole room answers together and watches the collective result build in real time, benchmarked against every organisation Ian has measured.
AFTER
Every attendee receives a personalised ninety-day action plan. The client receives the aggregate intelligence report.
Most keynotes end in applause. This one ends in a decision.
Speaker Topics
Your leadership team leaves with one plan, not ten opinions. Every leader is assessed beforehand. On stage the room sees how far apart it actually is, then ranks its priorities together. It leaves with a signed ninety-day plan carrying named owners and dates.
Walk out with the answer your board is about to ask for. The executive team is measured against the same dimensions the board will raise. The gaps are named in the room, with the people who have to close them. The client leaves with a board-ready position.
Decide what to fund, and what to stop. Current initiatives are scored against readiness rather than enthusiasm. The room agrees which three deserve funding and which are quietly costing money. Ends with a shortlist, a stop list and a sequence for both.
Five thousand people, one number, one direction. Every attendee scores their own team before the event, so they arrive invested rather than seated. On stage the whole room answers on their phones and watches the result build on screen. Nobody is a spectator. Every single attendee receives a personalised ninety-day plan afterwards.
Start the year aligned on what you actually believe. The organisation is measured across every level, so the gap between the top floor and the front line is visible before Ian speaks. He sets out what this decade asks of the people running things, and shows the room its own position inside it.
Understand what is coming for the work your people do. What agentic systems genuinely do today, what is being oversold, and what breaks first when an agent is placed inside a process designed for a human. Delivered for a whole workforce, not a technical audience.
Give five thousand people a reason to lean in, not brace. AI will not replace your people. People using AI will replace people who do not. Energy without hype, and a room that leaves ready rather than anxious.
Give your members the number nobody else in the sector has. The full membership can take the assessment, not only the people in the room. Members see where the sector actually stands. Every member receives a personalised report, and the association receives the aggregate benchmark, publishable under its own name.
Where your members stand, and what the next decade asks of them. Members are assessed against seven readiness pillars built for their profession. The capability spread inside the membership is shown openly, alongside a ten-year view members can plan against.
