DRUM!POWER

DRUM!POWER is lead by four musicians representing four of Canada’s unique ancestral cultures.  Each musician provides an educational introduction to the instrument of their culture and shares with the audience the challenges they may face as a people. 


Under the direction of each cultural representative, audience members have the opportunity to choose an instrument to play (or one may be preselected.)  Before they know it, the audience is creating powerful music together!  As each group of budding musicians practice and hone their skills, they are learning new lessons and sharing the gift of music, tradition and culture. 


The big finish for your DRUM!POWER session is a rousing performance by the entire audience - all of which are playing the different instruments in unison!
